Join OPAL’s current Artist In Residence, Bethany Cordero, for an engaging and creative workshop where we'll explore how memories can be physically woven into meaningful, tactile art forms.
In this hands-on session, you will:
• Work with wire, textile remnants, and paper to craft unique woven structures
• Experiment with assembling these materials to represent personal or shared memories
• Engage in thoughtful conversation on how memories and experiences can be translated into physical forms to commemorate times past
Whether you're new to weaving or an experienced maker, this workshop offers a chance
to reflect and create in a supportive environment.
