Whether you are a novice or seasoned hobbyist, this class offers you the fundamental techniques and tools used in the creative artistic process. Students will learn various methods of drawing in charcoal, pencil, soft pastel, oil pastel, and ink. Basic artistic concepts concerning value, depth perception, perspective, and contrast will also be investigated. Historical and present examples of artists will be studied and students will be given the opportunity to develop their own drawing styles.
Please note: A minimum of 4 people are needed to run this class. If the minimum is not reached, you will be given the option to move to the Wednesday evening class if there is space..
